November 25: Thanksgiving dinner at Ecole Militaire: Yale was well represented at this annual, popular event organized by AUC (American University Clubs of Paris) an organization consisting of many US College alumni associations, of which the Yale Club of France was a founding member

November 23: A group of alumni enjoyed a concert by Pablo Veguilla, a graduate of Yale School of Music, at the American Cathedral

November 22: We joined with our friends from the Harvard Club of France to watch the 141st edition of “The Game”. Yale upset Harvard 45-28 but a good time was had by all

November 4: Book Club. Saul Bellow’s last work, “Ravelstein” was the subject of a lively debate by our book club members

October 11: Walk in the Fontainebleau forest. Members enjoyed a vigorous 3 hours walk in the forest in beautiful weather

September 9: Book Club. Members had a wide ranging discussion today about "The New Internationals", by David Wright Faladé

September 7: Walking Tour. The Penn Club of France joined Yalies for an informative and lively walking tour of the Ile de la Cîte and Ile St. Louis

July 1: Book Club. "The Man Who Saw Everything", by Deborah Levy engaged many members in a lively debate

June 12 : AUC Annual Cocktail. Yalies joined the annual Summer cocktail organized by the AUC at the George Marshall Center on place de la Concorde

June 9: Annual Meeting. Fulfilling our legal obligation as a French “Associations 1901,” members met to approve the annual report, review the financial statements and elect the new Board

May 31: Summer Picnic. Our annual summer picnic was enjoyed by all who attended and a welcome introduction the summer.

May 20: Book Club. Members had a lively discussion today about "The Plot Against America" by Philip Roth, which had many people calling it “prescient”.

April 15: Dinner with the Yale Club - David A. Bell (former Yale History Professor). Prof. Bell, 20 years after he had to bow out of a Dinner with the Yale Club, lead members on a discussion about “What the French Revolution means to the French today.”

March 25: Book Club. The book "The Wisdom of Life " by Arthur Schopenhauer, had members discussing, such nagging questions as: What is happiness? Can we know what it is? Is Schopenhauer's recipe, written in 1851, still valid? A great discussion

March 18: Dinner with the Yale Club - Cyrus Vance Jr (Yale College ‘77). A wide variety of topics were discussed among the attendees with Cyrus giving his insight of decades as District Attorney, private attorney, public servant and Democratic party insider

February 27 : Feb Club: Yalies of all ages and schools gathered to celebrate the global Yale tradition of Feb Club. Good beer and good cheer was had by all

Feb 13: Dinner with the Yale Club -Tami Luchow. Tami discussed her latest book, "Poems for a Memory" and read selection of poems from it, all over a lively dinner debate

Jan 28: Billiards Night. Several members met up for a fun night of Billiards. And we discovered that our President, Daniel Garcia, is a pool-shark in disguise!

Jan 14: Book Club. Members were inspired by an enlightened discussion over the book "The Aleppo Codex" by Matti Friedman
