• January 12 Talk by Professor Bruce Ackerman: Yalies made up a good quarter of the attendees at the Ecole Normal Supérieure to hear Law School Professor Bruce Ackerman talk about “The Franco-American Constitutional Tradition”. A member reported that Prof. Ackerman was “brilliant, informative, and entertaining as usual”.
• January 5 All Ivy Happy Hour: Over 60 people showed up from many Ivy League Clubs, including Yale, at Carr’s pub to ring in the New Year for the inaugural event of 2012.
